Our Programs

Our initiatives are directed towards educating and empowering women as well as securing the future of our youth.

Organizing

We reach out to women working in bars, entertainment clubs and karaokes by visiting them twice a week. We also extend our support to members through house visits and to women in the streets in order to assess their situation and know more about their plans.

Education

In partnership with other organizations, we conduct training, seminars, and small group discussions on topics such as Women’s Rights, Prostitution and Trafficking, Violence Against Women, Gender Sensitivity, Reproductive Health, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and the laws that protect women against any issues affecting their rights.

Networking and Advocacy

We coordinate with both local and international organizations to advocate against issues surrounding human rights, particularly prostitution, violence on women, and human trafficking. The funding we receive from different national and international organizations enable us to pursue our mission and extend financial support to fellow local organizations.

Educational Assistance

We coordinate with the Department of Education to provide educational support for the youth in need, including the children of our women survivors, by helping them secure tuition discounts in their schools. This initiative has helped 50 elementary and high school students so far in gaining more access to education.

Alternative Learning System

We conduct 2-hour review classes twice a week for street children and victims of prostitution who were not able to finish or did not even have access to formal education. Through assessments, we are able to gauge their learnings and prepare them as they move forward to higher levels.

Livelihood

In order to sustain the organization, we manage various income-generating projects where we are also able to maximize the knowledge and skills of our women. We recycle juice tetra packs and repurpose them into various products such as bags, coin purses, wallets, and slippers. We also provide our members with skills training on body and facial massage. Since the onset of the pandemic, we have also started selling face masks that are personally sewn by our members.

Legal Assistance

We personally assist women and children who have been victims of violence, trafficking and abuse during their court trials.
